Flying Boston -> Texas

Subtitle:

Getting a ticket to Texas for Elise's graduation

Motivation:

See my sister's graduation

goals:

get there on time for her May 14/15 graduation

Guidelines:
do that which is right

Graduation is either Friday 14 or Saturday 15, May.

I don't see any red-eye flights, so if I sleep at the airport, I can get to Houston around 9:30am. A more sane solution using public transit in Boston gets me in around 4:30pm.

- what day? I prefer the day before graduation to spend more time in Boston. Find out when Elise's graduation is, or if she won't know for a while yet, then just book assuming it's the 14th.

- to Houston or College Station? Is someone else driving from Houston to College station the evening before or the day of the graduation? If not, just fly to College Station or get in earlier.

- what airline?
Partly depends on luggage fees, as I'll likely have my bicycle with me.
US Airways - $23 for one bag, $55 for two
AirTran - $15 for one bag, $40 for two
Continental - $23 for one bag, $55 for two

If flying on the 1

To do list:
Ask Elise if graduation is on Friday
